Privacy Policy
Who we are
This website and our apps are operated by Myuz Labs Limited ("Myuz Labs Limited", "we", "us" or "our"). We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy.
If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your information, email contact@myuzlabs.com.
What this policy covers
This policy applies to this website and to the mobile and desktop apps we publish under the developer name Myuz Labs Limited (together, the "Services"). An app may have additional details on its store page, such as Apple's App Privacy details or Google Play's Data safety section. If those differ from this policy, the more specific information for that app applies.
Information we collect
We collect as little as we need to run the Services well.
Information you give us
- Contact and support requests. Your name, email address and the content of your message when you contact us.
- Account information. If an app offers an account, the email address or sign-in identifier you use, and any profile details you choose to add.
- Content you create. Notes, lists, progress and other content you store in our apps. Where an app stores content only on your device, we do not receive it.
- Purchases. Payments are handled by Apple, Google or another store. We receive confirmation of what you bought, but not your card details.
Information collected automatically
- Website. Our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
- App diagnostics. Where an app includes crash reporting or performance monitoring, we receive device model, operating system version, app version and crash logs. These are not used to identify you.
- Usage information. Where an app includes analytics, we receive information about which features are used, so we can improve them. Where required by law, we ask for your consent first.
We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos or health data unless an app clearly asks for it to provide a feature you request, and you can decline.
How we use information
- To provide, maintain and support the Services, including syncing your content between your devices (performance of a contract).
- To respond to your questions and requests (performance of a contract or our legitimate interests).
- To keep the Services secure, prevent fraud and fix problems (legitimate interests).
- To understand how the Services are used and improve them (legitimate interests, or your consent where required).
- To comply with legal obligations, such as tax and accounting records (legal obligation).
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that process it on our behalf and under our instructions, and that are bound to protect it at least as well as we do:
- hosting and content delivery providers, such as Cloudflare, which serves this website;
- cloud storage and sync providers, where an app stores your content online;
- crash reporting and analytics providers, where an app uses them;
- app stores and payment processors, such as Apple and Google, for purchases.
Where an app uses a particular provider, it is listed on that app's store page.
We may also disclose information if required by law or a valid legal request, to protect the rights and safety of our users or others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.
International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than the one you live in, including the United States, where our service providers operate. When we transfer personal information out of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, mainland China or another region with transfer rules, we use the safeguards that law requires, such as standard contractual clauses, and where required we will ask for your separate consent and tell you the recipient's name, contact details, purpose and the types of information transferred.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described above. Account information and content are kept while your account is active and deleted within 30 days after you delete your account, except where we must keep certain records longer to meet legal, tax or accounting obligations. Support emails are kept for up to two years. Diagnostic data is kept for up to 90 days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it;
- correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- delete your information;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- receive your information in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that took place before;
- opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do neither);
- not be treated differently for exercising these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@myuzlabs.com. We will reply within 30 days and may need to confirm your identity first. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account and its data at any time. See Delete your account for the steps, what is deleted and what is kept.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and other reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the relevant authorities of a breach where the law requires it.
Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country, which is 14 in mainland China and up to 16 in parts of the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age without the consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary cookies to protect the site from abuse. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy and ask for consent where required.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will let you know in the app or by email before it takes effect.
